Recognizing Your Success

Monitoring our success is fun, yet most of us choose to look the other way. We search for others to compliment us. We look for recognition outside of ourselves yet refuse to give ourselves the compliments we deserve. Truth is, if you don't say it, no one else will. In order for you to get out of the "rat race" and conquer the "ruts", you must spend time with yourself. You must have motivating conversations with yourself. You must love yourself and all of your flaws.

Each day spend time reviewing the accomplishments....be clear on who you are becoming. Does this person follow the values you have chosen for your life and career?

Create a tracking system for your "wins". Maybe it's an internal tracking system, maybe it's in your journal, or maybe it's a chart you look at every day....whatever the process, recognize that you are successful today and every day. It's ok for you to be proud!

Track the successes and what you have learned from them. Then, raise your standards slowly and gently to create even greater accomplishments. Your standards are the implementation of your values. Raising your standards simply means a greater focus on living by your values, which means you will always be moving towards your truth and passion.

Reward yourself for staying out of your ruts and celebrate!

Coaching Challenge

Design your process for following your success. Start today by listing all of the things you have been successful with/in. Remind yourself everyday that you are already successful. What you focus on is what you get...focus on your success and witness the changes. Drop me a line to let me know about your successes--I'd love to hear from you!
